Sometimes God tells us to do something that appears foolish-like crossing the Red Sea on dry ground, but if we can trust His guidance, then all things are possible. Our confidence should be in God, who will fight our battles and bring us safely home.

For believers to live a life of victory, we must put on our full armor and trust the Deliverer. When trials come or disaster strikes, it’s easy to feel as if God is being negligent, but the God who fights for us has promised never to leave or forsake us. He is strongest when the confrontation is the hardest, and no power is powerful enough to stand His Authority. With this understanding, we will realize that our God is the dominant helper we can have in the battle of life. He has zero tolerance for the enemy’s harassment and threats against His children, whom He bought with the precious Blood of His Son, Jesus. God is not only interested in the struggles of His children but fighting battles on behalf of His children. He is in the business of preserving the lives of His people. For the God we serve is a Mighty Man in battle. As long as the children of God are still in any confrontation of life, victory is always guaranteed. It is to be composed and unshaken in the face of daring circumstances and situations. Isaiah 30:15 says, “For thus saith the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel In returning and rest shall ye be saved in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not.” Psalms 46:10 also says, “Be still, and know that I am God: …….” To be still is to be calm and at peace.

Stillness before God is a constant theme in the Scriptures. When they obeyed the Word of the Lord, the Bible records that the Red sea saw it, fled, and was driven back for them. The LORD will fight for you while you keep silent.” All they needed to do was stand by and watch their God at work. Moses told them, “don’t be afraid, stand still and watch the LORD rescue you. However, instead of holding fast to the Word of God and remembering His Promise to take them safely into the land He promised, they looked at the Red Sea and how they could not cross. Fear came upon them, so they cried out in fear and unbelief. After they left Egypt, they got stranded at the Red Sea, being pursued by Pharaoh and the host of the army of Egypt. God’s power had been dramatically portrayed again and again for the Israelites while in Egypt. Throughout the Scriptures, it is clear that God is committed to fighting for His children. The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace. And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you today: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them again no more forever.
